Harmony

‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Harmony

Harmony—it seems to be lacking in this world.  Today I read all sorts of news of discord.  Our politicians can’t seem to agree on anything.  People blame someone else for their problems. Individuals want their wishes granted at whatever costs.  Meanwhile we are missing opportunities to work together in a way that is pleasing.  Clearly, the evil one thrives on division and confusion. The way to harmony is through The Way, The Truth and The Life.

Insight

3B1B86F9-BFB0-47EF-8E0E-40C958847AF9“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭9:10‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Insight

Insight may be described as having penetrating mental vision or discernment—that faculty of seeing into inner character or underlying truth. With our digital world constantly bombarding us with mind altering bytes, we need to be able somehow to apprehend the true nature of things. I believe it is essential to have some quiet time to allow ourselves to connect with Truth. Currently it seems our egocentric society cannot understand that Truth. The Master of Confusion continues to prowl.

Abstract

7F1D28E6-8BEB-4CB8-991F-3B6B5E5E329C“For God is not a God of confusion but of peace. As in all the churches of the saints,”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭14:33‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Abstract is defined as not associated with any specific instance. It can be interpreted in many ways, dependent on the observer. For example, the painting above will be seen differently by each person. While forming an opinion on art is a fun and benign thing, not all abstract concepts are so light-hearted. Recently we have witnessed what we think is child abuse, but the parties, in question, will certainly have their own story with an entirely different point of view. We think that their attorneys have already shown how twisted they can make reality. I always suspect The Master of Confusion when black and white suddenly turns gray.
