‭‭Revelation‬ ‭5:5‬ ‭ESV‬‬

The lion (Panthera leo) is a species in the family Felidae.
Despite being on the list of vulnerable species, it is one of the most widely recognised animal symbols in human culture. Lions have been depicted in sculptures, paintings, and flags; as well as in movies and books. Lions are frequently mentioned in the Bible. The Lion of Judah is the biblical emblem of the tribe of Judah and the later Kingdom of Judah.
Lions are so majestic and powerful, which makes the Cowardly Lion in The Wizard of Oz so ridiculously hilarious.

‭‭Exodus‬ ‭20:12‬ ‭ESV

March 12 is my mother’s birthday. Today I honor her in Heaven for sacrificing so much for me and for loving me enough to make me fiercely independent. There are so many precious memories, but one stands out above all other. My older brother died of melanoma at age 24 just 3 weeks before Christmas and my mother, along with my father, made sure that Christmas was extra special for everyone else. That kind of courage and love defined my mother and I am indeed thankful.
