The Golden Sahara

1DCBA47C-5EAA-424C-B08D-17A792BFC31DThe Golden Sahara is a radical show car built by Barris Kustoms for Jim Skonzakes of Dayton, Ohio. It initially made its public debut in 1954 at the Petersen Motorama held at the Pan Pacific Auditorium in Los Angeles.
Then, the Golden Sahara was offered without reserve at an auction and Larry Klairmont of Chicago, Illinois won the bid.
Now the Geneva International Motor Show of the Year has it as its show car. Sometimes really unique and amazing things take a while to be appreciated.
